Online Tutoring

About Me:

  • A Professional Math Tutor With a Ph.D. Degree in Math for Face-to-Face and   Online Math Tutoring

Online Math Tutoring:

My second option for students who are unreachable for face-to-face tutoring is online tutoring. I use Microsoft Teams and Zoom for online math tutoring
My Microsoft Teams ID:     tutor@bestmathtutor.ca
My Zoom ID:     a_azizi@yahoo.com
Three monitors are connected to my computer. I also have a pen tablet connected to my computer for writing on one of the monitors. Then I share that monitor with my tutee using Microsoft Teams, so the student can see my writing and we can see and hear each other. If the student wants to ask me a written question, he can take its picture and send it to me using WhatsApp. To check the students’ learning progress, sometimes, I ask them to solve a math problem and send me the solution picture. After the tutoring session, I will email my class notes to my online student.
Tutoring online is as good as face-to-face and even better, because:
(1) We can copy and paste the repeated parts in tutoring without needing to rewrite them, which saves time.
(2) One can erase or move a note, and the notes are still legible!
(3) I use different mathematics software and markup languages, such as “Maple” and “Matlab”, installed on my computer, and share them with my students. That makes the topics more understandable and joyful.
(4) Printing and re-printing the notes, and carrying them is easy, and the tutoring notes are always in hand.
(5) The student saves time and money, because there is no need to leave home to meet the tutor!
